American Language Center (ALC) Closure

The ALC has helped prepare students for academic and professional success since 1975. Committed instructors and staff have worked together to provide the highest quality language instruction, cultural support, and commitment to the service of our students. Through programs offered at the ALC, students have been empowered to meet their educational, career, and personal goals.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the American Language Center (ALC) at the conclusion of Spring quarter.

UCLA Extension International Programs is committed to supporting students around the world in discovering their UCLA Extension journey. The decision to close the American Language Center, while difficult, will enable us to focus our priorities and ensure we can continue to offer the excellence in education that we are committed to providing.
